Molded Dimensions Group is privileged to operate out of several locations, in the states of Washington and Wisconsin. This month, we are taking time to reflect on the benefits of our latter location, as we acknowledge the anniversary of Wisconsin’s entry into the Union as the 30th state.

The first European to visit Wisconsin arrived in the early 1600s, and the region did not fall under American control until the early 19th century. Shedding its governance as part of other territories, Wisconsin was made a separate entity in 1836. Though resistant to statehood at first, Wisconsin citizens finally voted to approve statehood on May 29, 1848.

Wisconsin has long been a powerhouse of American manufacturing, and at Molded Dimensions Group, we are proud to be a part of that legacy. With deep roots in precision manufacturing and a highly skilled labor force, the state provides a strong foundation for companies that rely on craftsmanship, quality, and consistency—like Molded Dimensions Group.

We also find that our Wisconsin location provides geographic advantages that extend beyond state lines. Situated in the heart of the Midwest, our access to major highways, rail networks, and ports means we can move goods where they need to go, without delay. Such access to major markets is a competitive edge we never take for granted.

Wisconsin boasts a strong local identity, defining itself with values such as integrity, work ethic, and humility. At Molded Dimensions Group, these values have been woven into the fabric of our company culture. Following our Core Values, our team members are accountable and persistent as they collaborate to wow our customers.

Our commitment to Wisconsin goes beyond business, too, as we have invested in the communities in which we live and work. We regularly support local nonprofit organizations, such as animal rescue services, food pantries, and farmer’s markets, with in-kind and monetary donations, as well as volunteer hours. We truly take pride in helping to strengthen the places in which we operate and call home.

At Molded Dimensions Group, we are proud to have grown in Wisconsin. Our story began here, and over the years, we have stayed committed to the state even as we have evolved, expanded, and adapted to change. We are grateful to have played a small role in shaping the state, and to have been shaped in turn. Happy Statehood Anniversary, Wisconsin!
