Global Manufacturing
Molded Dimensions Group is equipped to deliver solutions using our international connections in both production and fulfillment. With numerous manufacturing and fulfillment strategies available, we can confidently pledge the most favorable logistics for each product.
Our services include:
- Mold Design Support: We are fully equipped with SolidWorks CAD stations and 3D printing for rapid tooling and prototyping capability to ensure a quick program launch. We stand ready to assist with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and process optimization efforts and to champion part integrity assurance and ease of secondary operations.
- Mold Making: At our SolidWorks terminals, we build or use your 3D models for CNC programming, for both EDM and CNC fabrication. When needs or lead times dictate, we subcontract mold building to partners based domestically and in Asia. Whether made in-house or by our partners, we are driven by total customer satisfaction, and thus we carefully oversee the entire process.
- Injection Molding: We process a variety of resins, from ultra-high-performance engineering resins to commodity resins. All plastic injection, clean room, insert molding, and overmolding operations are conducted in our 42,000-square-foot facility in Fife, Washington. Our 13 presses range from 88 to 1,200 tons, with shot capacity ranging from 3.5 ounces to 15 pounds. All of our injection molding machines feature real-time process monitoring through DelmiaWorks IQMS.
- Value-Added Services: Molded Dimensions Group can provide any additional steps to aid in reaching a project’s final goal, including sub-assembly, kitting, ultrasonic welding, pad printing, heat staking, clean-room assembly, automation, inventory management, and more.
