How long have you worked at Molded Dimensions? Tell us about your current role.
I have been in my role as Supply Chain Manager at Molded Dimensions for almost one year. I am responsible for all facets of foreign distribution, which includes purchasing, logistics, and warehouse shipping and receiving. I also closely collaborate with Molded Dimensions’ domestic suppliers of both components and raw materials.

What does a typical day as Supply Chain Manager look like?
Each day I must make many quick, and frequent, decisions to avoid any disruptions to the flow of product. I work closely with my team and provide support wherever possible. But working in supply chain means no two days ever end up being the same.

Tell us about an experience that made you feel like you belonged at Molded Dimensions.
The team at Molded Dimensions has really made me feel like I am part of the family. I work remotely from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and every time I come to the office in Port Washington, Wisconsin, my coworkers go out of their way to accommodate my stay.

Tell us more about Molded Dimensions’ Global Manufacturing/Distribution business.
The global manufacturing and distribution business at Molded Dimensions is continuing to grow. Even with the supply chain disruptions affecting companies around the world, our supplier base remains supportive in meeting our needs. But Molded Dimensions continues to look at new opportunities, such as expanding its footprint to other countries by pursuing alternative product lines. In this regard, substantial progress has already been made.

Across numerous industries, supply chain issues have been a challenge for many. How has Molded Dimensions met that challenge, especially considering the recent growth of the Molded Dimensions Group?
When products become difficult to find, Molded Dimensions has consolidated material purchases across its sister companies to provide solutions of alternative materials, and help reduce costs, too. Additionally, lead times have significantly increased due to port congestion, rail strikes, and diminished air space availability. Thus, Molded Dimensions has been pursuing new methods to transport its freight. And with the recent growth of Molded Dimensions Group, we have been able to move more product effectively, at a lower cost than last year. Year-to-date our cost savings are several hundred thousand dollars.

Why do you like working at Molded Dimensions?
I work with an incredibly talented group of people who go above and beyond to meet the customers’ needs. I also enjoy how everyone collaborates in cross-functional teams to find necessary solutions.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I raise cattle on our family ranch alongside my grandpa, dad, and husband. We run a cow/calf operation, with a blend of red and black Angus and Charolais breeds. I also have a garden and love canning food such as jelly, salsa, and hot peppers.

Do you have any secret talents?
I used to shoot competitively in sporting clays events with a 12-gauge shotgun. My team of three ranked second in the state of Oklahoma in our division–and I was the only girl in the competition.

Anything else that you would like to share?
I have an amazing husband, and we are currently building our family ranch. I also have two wonderful dogs named Jack and Bear and three silly cats named Littles, Jill, and Teeny Tiny.
